What is laser hair removal?
Laser hair removal is a long-lasting, if not permanent form of hair removal using lasers to target and destroy hair follicles, meaning nothing can grow from there anymore
How does laser hair removal work?
The laser targets multiple hair follicles in about a fraction of a second
The laser ensures the hair follicles are permanently destroyed so the hair growth reduces and eventually does not grow back again
The laser machine that we use has a specially designed cooling tip, meaning as the heat hits your skin the heat is counteracted by the very cold tip as it moves around your skin
Laser Hair Removal Consultation
Before starting your laser hair removal journey, we will conduct a free consultation with one of our experienced and highly trained aesthetician . During the consultation, the aesthetician will explain the process to you, answer any questions you may have and carry out a patch test on each area you would like to treat.

BENEFITS OF LASER HAIR REMOVAL
No more ingrown hairs
Laser hair removal kills the follicle, stopping new hairs growing and therefore preventing ingrown hairs.
Permanent results
Most clients only require an average of three to seven sessions for permanent results
Saves you money
Although laser treatment can be costly, it usually saves people money in the long term. The average amount women spend on waxing in their lifetime is £17,000, with the average cost of shaving for women set at £7,000
Saves time
Along with saving on money, laser hair removal can save people time, too. 88% of women are reported to spend over four months of their life removing body hair, while a single treatment takes between half an hour and an hour
can be combined with other treatments such as our vajacials to further enhance amazing results
Laser hair removal is the most effective method for achieving permanent reduction. After 6-8 sessions, you can achieve up to 90% reduction. Compare this to a lifetime of shaving or waxing laser hair removal is an investment and more economical in the long run.
The laser is also extremely effective at treating ingrown hairs. After 2-4 sessions you will notice a significant if not complete removal of ingrown hairs.
The bumps, redness and skin pigmentation caused by ingrown will also clear up as leaving the skin healthier and smoother.
Laser Hair Removal Frequently Asked Questions
WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING LASER HAIR REMOVAL TREATMENT?
Our laser machine has a small handpiece which is used to deliver an intense but gentle burst of energy onto targeted areas of the skin. Therapeutic heat then removes unwanted hair.
IS YOUR LASER SUITABLE FOR DARK SKIN?
Yes! Our Diode laser machine can be used on all skin types. We use a Diode laser and just like the Nd:YAG laser our Diode laser gives safe and effective results for lighter and darker skin tones (Fitzpatrick types I–VI) due to their use of wavelengths that penetrate more deeply into the skin, reducing the amount of energy absorbed by the epidermis relative to the hair follicle.
HOW LONG WILL MY LASER TREATMENT TAKE?
A treatment can take as little as a few minutes to as long as an hour, depending on the area that you're treating. For example, both legs can usually be treated in as few as 15 minutes & underarms usually takes 5 minutes.
DOES LASER HAIR REMOVAL HURT?
There can be some mild discomfort during laser hair removal, this discomfort passes very quickly and is minimised by our cooling tip. The sensation is often described as having an elastic band pinged against the skin.
HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?
Usually a package of 6 – 8 sessions is required to achieve full hair removal. This is because hair grows in three stages:
Anagen (the growth stage). Hair is thickest and darkest, so laser treatments are most effective.
Catagen (the transitional stage). The hair begins to loosen from its follicle.
Telogen (the shedding stage). The hair falls out to make room for new growth.
The hairs on your body are not always at the same stage, so you’ll need to undergo a few treatments, an average of six weeks apart, to catch them all in the growth stage.
IS LASER HAIR REMOVAL PERMANENT?
Most clients will get up to 80 % hair reduction with the recommended treatment package and top up treatments as long as the interval is maintained.
CAN I REMOVE MY HAIR IN BETWEEN MY LASER SESSIONS?
Yes of course! However you can only remove your hair by shaving!
MY HAIR IS REALLY THICK AND DARK, WILL I NEED A LOT MORE SESSIONS?
No, the thicker and darker the hair the better for laser! If you have hormonal hair you will still see great results, but more frequent top-ups will be needed.
HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY LASER HAIR REMOVAL TREATMENTS?
For about six weeks prior to treatment, you should avoid plucking, electrolysis or waxing however you can shave. On the day of your treatment, skin should be clean-shaven and thoroughly cleansed of any makeup, creams, oils, topical anesthetics or self-tanning products.
Do not expose the treatment area to sunlight or tanning booth light prior to or immediately after treatment.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT AFTER MY TREATMENT?
A cool compress may be applied for additional comfort after your treatment. Any redness or swelling should resolve in a few hours.
CAN I TAN BETWEEN SESSIONS?
