What is the Green Peel & how does it work?​

The Green Peel is an all-herbal peel. A selection of eight carefully selected herbs, each containing specific enzymes, vitamins and minerals that will help to rejuvenate the skin when massaged in.

 

The Green Peel is known worldwide for its non-invasive skin rejuvenation results. Herbal Green Peel helps increase blood circulation to encourage a faster metabolism and collagen production. This helps result in the outer layers of the skin peeling away to make way for newer, more youthful skin

 

Importantly, the Herbal Green Peel is a peel without any chemicals. Instead, the Green Peel is a compound of the herbs’ own micro-particles that polish the upper layer of the skin.

Is a Green Peel treatment painful? 

 

The treatment can be uncomfortable. You may experience the skin feeling hot and tingly. You may also experience some sensitivity afterwards however it os definitely worth the discomfort!

Is a patch test required for the Green Peel?

 

Yes, a patch test and consultation is mandatory at least 48 hours before the actual treatment

Will my skin peel?

 

You should expect 3-5 days of peeling. How much the skin peels depends on the individual condition. But the degree of peeling has no influence on the effectiveness of the Green Peel on the skin even for those that do not peel at all

Contraindications

Green Peel is contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding, acute/untreated hormonal disorders (e.g untreated thyroid disease, advanced organ disease (e.g. renal/hepatic failure), allergy to the substance or materials necessary for the procedure, severe autoimmune disease, immunosuppression, active infection and Body Dismorphic Disorder (BDD).

Class C – Gentlest of the 3 strengths, recommended as a fresh-up peel

 

 

Is there any downtime?

 

Class A – 5 days downtime

Class C – 24 - 48 hours downtime

How long will it take for me to see results?

 

Some results can be seen after the first peel, however we recommend a minimum of 3 sessions to experience the full benefit

 

 

Who is the green peel suitable for?

 

Most people are able to have the Green Peel. However, a patch test will be done before the treatment to ensure that you do not have any adverse reaction to any of the ingredients

Any form of antibiotics - 2 weeks

Microdermabrasion/microneedling/ peels- 4 weeks

AHA/BHA/ Retinol/ tretinoin  - 2 weeks

Microblading - 4 weeks

IPL or laser - 4 weeks

Waxing hair/removal creams/shaving – 1 week

You are unable to have treatment if you have any active infections or active psoriasis in the treatment area
